Privacy, in plain terms.

This website

The website has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no email list. It does not set cookies. Our hosting provider receives the technical details of each request (such as the address and browser) to deliver the pages and keep the site safe. If we turn on the provider’s privacy-friendly page counts, they are totals, with no cookies and no profile of you.

The app

You sign in with Google or Apple, without a password. We keep your name, email address and photo from that account, the groups you join, and the matches, scores, ratings and betting items your group records. Members of a group can see that group’s players, matches and rankings.

If you allow notifications, we keep a device token to send them. If you buy a plan for a group, the store and our billing provider handle the payment; we receive which plan the group has, not your card details.

If you record a result by voice, your phone’s speech service (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android) turns what you say into text. The app keeps only that text, as if you had typed it; it does not keep the recording. The microphone listens only after you tap it, until it stops.
